Caulk The Right Way
Not Like This!
Caulking projects are fairly simple, but like everything else there are right ways to do it and not so right ways.
We won’t tell you that caulking is an art form, but we have all seen some very bad examples of a caulk project gone wrong.
Like most things in home improvement, the end result is a combination of the right product, the correct techniques, and the proper application or usage.
For example, in most cases you shouldn’t use caulk when spackle or wood filler would be the better choice. And of course, there is no magic in a tube of caulk that will cover the sins of poor workmanship. The saying in the industry “do your best and caulk the rest” is just not up to the standards we like to use.
