Drywall repair high ceiling

Holes in drywall happen. And when it does it can seem like a really big deal. But we can help.

No matter if you call it a drywall repair, a sheetrock repair, a drywall patch the process to repair it is the same. We square up the damaged area, cut a new piece of drywall to fit, make sure it is properly supported & fastened in place. Then we tape and bed the drywall patch, apply several coats of drywall compound to match the surface, sand as required, match the texture, prime and paint.

Some repairs are more of a challeng than others as above, in a high ceiling and over a staircase complicates what would typically be a less involved drywall repair.

Funny thing, a small drywall repair like if a doorstop is missing and a doorknob goes through a hole or if the hole to be repaired is considerably larger, say a foot or so, the process is very much the same. With proper drying time for compound and texture material to dry, a good repair can take a couple of trips to finish.

When this process is rushed, we feel the results show that it was. Our best results come from doing drywall repairs correctly.
